saving tips for your day-to-day basis

Saving with your car

There are many situations in everyday life, contributing to unnecessary spending with your vehicle:

- At the outset and often do not give much importance, but it is the correct tire pressure. A tire pressure lower than indicated by the manufacturer may lead to premature wear this, implying a cost of replacement. Even the friction caused by the fact that it is less full, leads to a larger effort by the engine, increasing fuel consumption.

- Another issue relates to the fact that often we use the trunk as if it were a warehouse, carrying objects with some weight and also contribute to excessive consumption of fuel.

- Naturally, the speed at which circulate and how it also helps to accelerate this. Hard acceleration and high speeds, lead to unnecessary wear of vehicle components, as well as an increase in fuel consumption.

On the road, it is common circular sections of road with some slope. If we put the change in neutral, so we can download the engine speed up to 900 rpm, thus saving more fuel and be more environmentally friendly.

- When planning a trip, and set the route to be done, it will run on the motorway or national roads. For example a trip from Lisbon to the Algarve and return, can save around € 30 and make a good average in terms of time and speed.

-The accommodation of the load should be distributed uniformly, in order not to endanger the safety and greater tire wear on one side of the vehicle.
